CODE OF CONDUCT AND COMMUNITY GUIDELINES – MUJERES EMPRESARIAS DEL MUNDO

Code of Ethics and Disciplinary Measures

PREAMBLE: OUR COMMITMENT.
Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo is a community built on trust, mutual respect, and professional solidarity. Our core value is to create a safe space where women entrepreneurs can grow, collaborate, and empower themselves without fear of toxic, fraudulent, or illegal behavior. This Code of Conduct clearly defines which behaviors are not tolerated and the consequences of violating them, with the sole objective of protecting the well-being, safety, and integrity of our community.

SECTION 1: PROHIBITED NEGATIVE BEHAVIORS (ZERO TOLERANCE)
Any act or omission that undermines coexistence or the security of the platform is strictly prohibited. This includes, for illustrative but not exhaustive purposes:

1.1. Harassment, discrimination, and disrespect:

  • Direct or Indirect Harassment: Offensive comments, insults, mockery, professional or personal belittlement, non-constructive criticism aimed at denigrating.

  • Discrimination: Any action based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, beliefs, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other personal or social condition.

  • Intimidation or threats: Public or private communications that seek to intimidate, coerce, or cause fear in another user.

  • Passive-aggressive behaviors: Subtle discrediting, deliberate exclusion from group conversations or projects, spreading malicious rumors.

1.2. False accusations and defamation:

  • Publishing or spreading false, unverified, or malicious accusations about another user, their business, their professionalism, or their conduct.

  • Impersonating another person or company to damage their reputation.

  • Initiating defamation campaigns ("cancelation") without objective evidence and outside official communication channels.

1.3. Fraudulent activities, scams, and illegal acts:

  • Deceptive offers of "opportunities": Pyramid schemes, non-transparent multi-level marketing, exaggerated and unsustainable income promises, "work from home" schemes requiring upfront payment.

  • Phishing and identity theft: Attempting to obtain sensitive data (passwords, bank details) from other users.

  • Sale of illegal or undeclared products/services.

  • Using the platform for any activity that contravenes the legislation in force in the user's country or that of Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo.

1.4. Attacks on collective well-being and safety:

  • Hate speech or incitement to violence.

  • Sharing violent graphic content, non-consensual explicit sexual material, or sensitive material that could cause psychological harm.

  • Sexual harassment: Unwanted sexual advances, comments with sexual content, sending unsolicited intimate material.

  • Doxxing: Publishing another person's private information (address, phone number, family data) without their consent, with malicious intent.

1.5. Unfair business practices within the Community:

  • Aggressive Spam: Mass contact with users with unsolicited advertising.

  • Abusive commercial pressure or manipulative use of relationships for sales.

  • Systematic breach of professional agreements made through the platform, with manifest bad faith.

SECTION 2: REPORTING AND INVESTIGATION PROCEDURE

  • Official Channel: All reports must be made through the platform's specific form or via email to moderacion@mujeresempresariasdelmundo.net, providing tangible evidence (screenshots, links, etc.).

  • Confidentiality: The investigation process is strictly confidential. The identity of the complainant will not be revealed, except under legal obligation.

  • Impartial Investigation: Our moderation team will investigate the facts, may request information from both parties, and will evaluate the evidence objectively.

  • Limited Right of Defense: The investigated user will be notified of the general nature of the alleged violation and will be given the opportunity to provide their version within a brief period (e.g., 48 to 72 hours).

SECTION 3: DISCIPLINARY MEASURES AND CONSEQUENCES
Violation of this Code of Conduct will result in one or more of the following actions, applied at the sole discretion of Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo according to the severity of the offense:

3.1. Private Warning:
For minor or first-time offenses, the user will be notified of the infraction committed, which will serve as a formal warning.

3.2. Temporary Account Suspension:
For moderate or repeat offenses, the user will lose access to their account for a determined period (from 7 days to 3 months). During this period, their profile will remain invisible.

3.3. PERMANENT AND IRREVOCABLE ACCOUNT SUSPENSION:
FOR SERIOUS OR VERY SERIOUS OFFENSES. This sanction will be applied, without prior notice and without right to appeal, refund, or any compensation, in cases such as:

  • Violation of the prohibitions in Section 1.3 (Fraud/Illegalities) and 1.4 (Attacks on Safety).

  • Repeated harassment or discriminatory conduct (Section 1.1).

  • Verification of false accusations or malicious defamation (Section 1.2).

  • Any action that, in the sole judgment of Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo, represents a real or potential risk to the safety, well-being, or integrity of the community or a user.

The user accepts that this decision is final.

3.4. Additional Measures:

  • Immediate removal of offensive content.

  • Permanent ban on creating new accounts.

  • Informing the competent authorities if the offense constitutes a crime.

SECTION 4: WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND ACCEPTANCE

  • Unconditional Acceptance: By using Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo, the user unconditionally accepts this Code of Conduct and acknowledges the absolute right of Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo to apply these disciplinary measures.

  • Waiver of Claims: The user expressly waives any type of claim, demand, or request for compensation against Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo arising from the suspension or removal of their account under this Code, including direct, indirect, or consequential damages.

  • Discretionary Nature: The application, interpretation, and grading of sanctions is a discretionary and sovereign decision of Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo, always taken for the benefit of collective safety and the well-being of the community.

FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT STATEMENT:
"By remaining an active user of Mujeres Empresarias del Mundo, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to fully comply with this Code of Conduct. I understand that its purpose is to protect our community and I accept that any infraction, especially those affecting the safety or well-being of others, may result in the immediate and permanent suspension of my account without right to compensation. My continued presence on this network is a privilege conditioned upon my contribution to a safe, respectful, and ethical environment."
